The Team Behind the Mission

Meeting people where they are and sharing HOPE when it’s needed MOST.

Breezewood Trucker/Traveler Ministry meets people on the move with practical help and spiritual care. Stationed in the heart of Breezewood’s travel corridor, the chaplaincy serves long-haul truckers, families on vacation, and travelers in crisis—offering a listening ear, prayer on request, and assistance when the unexpected happens on the road.

Chaplain serving travelers—Breezewood Trucker/Traveler Ministry

Working alongside local churches and business partners, the ministry provides tangible support like hot meals, short-term lodging, and hygiene/care kits—simple interventions that make a hard moment survivable. Seasonal surges bring more stranded and transient guests; truckers, meanwhile, roll year-round. The team responds with steady presence, compassionate triage, and thoughtful referrals to community resources to help each guest take a solid next step.

Care and support in action—Breezewood ministry

The chaplaincy is guided by a volunteer management committee and sustained through donations and partnerships. Supporters can underwrite meal and care kits, sponsor outreach, invite the chaplain to speak, or give financially—every contribution directly fuels front-line care for travelers. Together, the ministry’s network turns generosity into action, meeting people where they are and sharing hope when it’s needed most.
